Countryside border

This Mediterranean border has the difficult task of connecting the property to the splendid Roman countryside north of the capital.

Three biological forms of plants were used to create variety, movement and connection with the surrounding territory.

The shrubs create structure, the herbaceous and subshrubs plants bring color at different times of the year, the grasses take up the herbs of the neighboring fields.

It is the transposition of the classic English border in a Mediterranean environment.

The photos show the garden over a period of two years, from spring to winter.
