In this small garden the watchword was “low maintenance”. Although I like to use the terms ‘management and care’ today, the point remains the same: both Zoysia japonica turf and mixed edging with Mediterranean plants need very little care.
In this gallery I have had fun inserting the before and after photos to highlight the enormous change that took place immediately after the refurbishment of the building.
Also interesting is the use of honeycomb grids to stabilise the gravel and make it perfectly drivable.
