Innovation
The world is moving fast, and the very concept of the garden must evolve with it.
We believe the time has come to move beyond the idea of a purely ornamental, static, and lawn-centric garden, embracing a more evolved and conscious vision: the garden as a vital ecosystem.
Our innovation stems from the direct application of ecology to landscape design, translated into cutting-edge project strategies. Our plant communities are a profound synthesis of nature: an explosion of biodiversity orchestrated with a personal touch, standing in clear antithesis to the outdated monospecific models of the past.
This paradigm shift is not only aesthetic but represents a strategic investment. Virtuous water management, the absence of chemical inputs, and targeted management interventions—carried out only when strictly necessary—result in a drastic reduction of costs over time, ensuring the longevity and resilience of the work.
THE FOUNDATIONS:
A LIVING SOIL
Our approach marks a clear departure from conventional practices.
We exclude the use of fertilizers and phytosanitary treatments, methods that make vegetation dependent and soils biologically inert.
Our priority is to reawaken the deep biology of the soil. We utilize natural microorganisms and formulate custom technical substrates, giving structural importance to drainage capacity. This allows the vegetation to nourish itself autonomously and develop essential mutualistic bonds. A living soil is the fundamental prerequisite for a resilient landscape.
THE RESOURCE:
WATER AWARENESS
A conscious approach to water resources is the cornerstone of our design philosophy.
Many landscapes are born from a flawed principle: imposing an idea without respecting the site’s actual availability. We, on the contrary, start by listening. From the site analysis derive targeted decisions, such as the choice of the Gravel Garden: an agronomic technique that allows for the maximum optimization of water resources, minimizing evaporation and promoting absorption. The result is a landscape that prospers by following natural rhythms, reaching an ideal of beauty that arises from respect for the place, rather than from force.
THE RESULT:
AN OASIS OF BIODIVERSITY
In an era of environmental simplification, our landscapes represent an injection of life.
The use of numerous plant species triggers a virtuous cycle, generating a healthy and balanced ecosystem.
It is a whispered vitality, where small beneficial fauna become an integral part of the garden experience—a tangible sign of an environment in perfect health.
We believe that returning man to a deep contact with a complex nature is an essential value for collective well-being.
THE AESTHETICS:
THE LIVING PAINTING
Our aesthetic research explores sustainable alternatives to the turfgrass, a classic element of the garden but one that is now difficult to reconcile with the present.
We design plant communities whose beauty lies in the textures, densities, and blooms that succeed one another with elegance throughout the landscape.
We use vegetation to sculpt volumes, perspectives, and scenes of pure suggestion.
The revolution lies in conceiving the garden as an organism guided by a wise hand, destined to reach its natural climax over time.
We associate species in an innovative way to create living paintings that evoke nature, while revealing the precise design intent of the studio.
